Review of Imagine Me & You (2006) by Israel M — 15 Jan 2009
The single worst movie I have ever seen. The recommendation by a girl-friend re-enforces my notion that the only audience to watch it should be; Females, homosexuals or inmates (as a sort of slow & cruel punishment).
The absurd plot is a problem but not its biggest one, for a "Romantic Comedy" it is missing the two main ingredients "ROMANCE" & "COMEDY". The reason for the romance is never shown and its as funny as a brick (to the face).
Don't force feed us some bull**** about love at first sight, don't say that we must sympathize with the character, if indeed the two female leads are made for each other then SHOW ME WHY, all they did was have dinner and hang out at a soccer game screaming and talking about flowers afterwards, the love at first sight sounds more like a reason for sexual adventure than love.
In Conclusion, this shows how some producers in the industry are unimaginative retards, so the only Star it gets is for the only character I actually sympathized with, the husband, who did nothing wrong but had the misfortune of marrying some retarded whore.
