Review of Imagine: John Lennon (1988) by Scott C — 23 Sep 2012
If there ever was a musician who I truly considered a hero, it was John... With all that fame he could have lived out a Paris Hilton fantasy, and with all that money he could've just sat at home the rest of his life collecting on those Beatles royalties, but his mission was love and peace.
Love how passionately he stands up to all the nonbelievers/haters who would rather live in a Nixon/Bush America where their noses are rubbed in shit everyday in order to avoid confrontation. Favorite scene - Scruffy looking Beatles fan camping out in his yard for days, but instead of flipping shit, John welcomes the guy in for a meal and kind words of enlightenment.
The most honest and down to earth rock star that ever was...
