Review of Imaginary Heroes (2004) by Paul D — 29 Jul 2007
Not for those who like happy stories. This movie gives viewers a well-rounded look at the loss of a child and brother from suicide, and the many forms depression and grief can take on. Sigourney Weaver is phenomenal in her candid-speaking character, as she protects her illegitamit son, as he sets on his journey to find an identity.
Lots of drugs. Lots of suicide and depression. But lots of humor as well. Sigourney, again is delightful.
