Review of Imaginary Heroes (2004) by Pirkko S — 18 Apr 2008
A family begins to disintegrate after an unexpected death. The first half of Imaginary Heroes somewhat reminisces me of Little Children in its hilarious absurdity which mainly stems from Sigourney Weaver's great performance.
The latter half is mostly regular tragic drama. Some major plot twists are quite predictable but fortunately the first half and good overall performances make up for them.
