Review of Imaginary Heroes (2004) by Derek A — 16 Jan 2009
At times, I felt that the characters, who weren't too interesting to begin with, dealt with too many situations that didn't seem to make an imprint on their lives or the story. Often, things would happen, but would never be mentioned again to benefit our curiousity.
When I see a story unfold, I want every aspect to mean something and not just disappear before the next chapter begins. A very inspiring design, but poorly conceived.
