Review of I'm Still Here (2010) by James G — 08 Dec 2010
This film leaves me at a loss. I know this spiraling down of Joaquin Phoenix was apparently a hoax, but I still can't feel that some of his actions and behaviors we're coming from a real place.
The most amusing parts of the film we're watching other celebrities around Joaquin try to figure out what was happening with the actor. As someone who was once a celebrity assistant, the revenge that Joaquin's assistant takes on him towards the end of the movie gave me a large laugh.
Interesting and disturbing, "I'm Still Here" is an in-depth look at the crumbling life of a celebrity.
