An interesting concept, but the execution is often too shallow and frankly annoying. I rarely have to stop watching a movie because I can't stand it, but at its climax (the infamous "Letterman" interview) I got fed up. The last ten minutes almost makes the movie redeemable. Almost.
While we now all know darn well that this whole guise was a ruse, it did bring up some interesting points relating to who we are in terms of how others see us. If anything, it did keep JP in the spotlight.
