So I broke down and watched this hoax of a film last night, and I must admit I was pretty entertained. Here (according to Joaquin himself on his second Letterman appearance) we have a case study. A tormented Hollywood super-brat play-acting (and not even good play-acting) the role of an equally tormented Hollywood super-brat for the benefit of a movie camera. And the people that were duped by this stunt/work of art are the same people who believe reality tv isn't scripted. Um...really?
Anyway, the hilarity of hearing Phoenix rhyme â~Joaquinâ(TM) with â~tear out my spleen' gets 3 stars from me.
