Is Joaquin Phoenix a whiny asshole, or is he pretending to be a whiny asshole? At what point does it stop mattering? This mockumentary has its can't-turn-away train wreck moments, and offers a bit of satire about the carnivorous entertainment media.
But it's 30 minutes too long and mostly excruciating.
