Review of I'm Still Here (2010) by Melissa S — 12 Jan 2011
It was really long. It was kind of boring. I would never actually say I hate this movie, but I didn't like it and I don't know one person that I would actually recommend it to. It was kind of a waste of time.
But, good background noise while I was cleaning the guinea pig cage. I have seen reviews/comments on this movie where people think it's a real documentary and that it is sad to watch him have a melt down AND I have seen reviews/comments where people think it's a mockumentary and he did a great acting job and it shows the real side of Hollywood.
All I know is if this was real, then he should have passed on the project because his life is not that interesting, there's no struggle, millions have it worse. And if this was an actual mockumentary, then that was the worst acting I have ever seen.
A mockumentary is supposed to leave you feeling like you have just witnessed an actual real moment in someone's life, even make you laugh if it is intending to do so. Not have you checking your clock every 15 minutes to see what time it is.
