Review of I'm Still Here (2010) by Erick F — 27 Dec 2010
It doesn't get a below 50% rating because I like the concept. While it tries to break down the typical celebrity this film also perpetuates the stereotypical celebrity. For most of it, he was just acting like a brat, but it doesn't seem like he was because he was a stoner.
But in reality, he just came off as a bratty celebrity who wanted to get his way. The film has its moments, their are some funny freak out parts but not enough for me to love it. I'm a big fan of Andy Kaufman type of comedy where the audience is tricked into something that isn't real is real so I went into this with high expectation but it sadly didn't meet them.
Good Concept Eh Execution. You don't have to watch.
