Review of I'm So Excited! (2013) by Gary B — 15 Jun 2013
I'm So Excited! is an airline farce than barely gets off the ground. Set almost entirely on a plane bound for Mexico City the pilots, crew, and passengers are forced to 'face the greatest fear we carry within ourselves', with the end in sight after a problem with the aircraft's landing gear is discovered.
Flying in circles in a holding pattern the pilots try to find a free runaway to make an emergency landing. While the crew have drugged passengers asleep in coach, a mood of gay abandon seizes the passengers in business, who fuelled by lethal Valencia water cocktails - a combination of vodka, champagne and orange juice laced with mescaline, let their libido run wild.
Like Airplane!, I'm So Excited! to takes you on a ridiculous journey through the skies but without the laughs and silliness. Sadly, I'm So Excited! isn't very funny and won't have you laughing in the aisles.
