Review of I'm Not There (2007) by Frank H — 22 Feb 2009
First of all, this is not a movie to wtch for leisure and it probably feels like a weird coctail to people who don't know much about Dylan. Yet, if you know at least something about his life and/or enjoy his music, this is pure beauty.
Sure it was a bit confusing and made in a rather unusual way but oh the beauty. There were some scenes I wanted to watch again because they just were so amazing, whether it was the light in it, colours, sounds, all added together.
I don't know if I would actually call this a movie per se, it was more like pieces that have a common point yet they are very separate still. Anyway, a wonderful experience for eye and ear not to forget that I very much liked Cate Blanchett's performance.
