Review of I'm Not There (2007) by Steph H — 24 Oct 2009
Original, ambitious, at times abstract, and very watchable recreations/embellishments of episodes and themes from Bob Dylan's life; casting Cate Blanchett, who gives an absolutely amazing intense performance as (one of many) Bob Dylan(s) was as masterful a stroke as was casting Richard Gere an atrocious blunder (the whole 'Billy the Kid' segment was totally useless).
.. needless to say, the music is fucking sublime!
