Review of I'm Not Scared (2003) by Jennifer O — 05 Dec 2004

This was a wonderful movie to see. So damned beautiful in every way. I am so happy I didn't listen to MIKE, REBORT and BUFF. I would have missed this BEAUTIFUL MOVIE if I had. Don't feel like reviewing it at all. I'll just say that even if you aren't moved by it (as I was) the beauty you see on screen is worth the 90 minutes or so. I have to see other Maggie Cheung movies now.

Very good "little" Italian film. I curse the people and reviewers who made this come off like a horror flick or a scary movie. It is not. It is a tense little film with very good performances by a few child actors. i'm sure that I am selling it short, but that is only because I had about 10 interruptions and I had to rewind the movie several times and this ruined some tense moments. I am displeased, but the movie was still damned good.
