Review of I'm Not Ashamed (2016) by Jamie A — 19 Oct 2016
I so enjoyed this movie. It was powerful and beautifully made. I saw someone make a comment about 'right wing agenda,' they don't know what they are talking about, so ignore them. This movie was commissioned by Rachel Scott's mother to tell her daughters story.
Every detail of the movie comes from only two sources: the facts as they were discovered and her personal diary. The core of the film is a young lady's delicate struggle to serve her God honestly.
Not just with hypocritical words, as so many Christian's are (unfortunately rightly) accused of, but with a genuine work-it-out daily active faith! You have to respect her struggle whether you agree with the premise of her faith or not.
Further, she stands up for her belief in the most ultimate of showdowns with evil, surely that is still a wonderful attribute. You will enjoy this movie and be inspired to be a better person your self! Go see it, you will not be disappointed.
