The characters and Rachael's words constantly returned to me today during morning prayer. Much to ponder. The beautiful children who are bombarded with so many lies in this world and evil culture. The spiritual pain she endured, not really understanding but, in faith holding on, and so richly rewarded.
The reward of the "sword" of suffering and martyrdom that seems foolish in the eyes of the world. Oh how I pray that my own loved ones could be affirmed by her witness. "Be strong and courageous for the Lord is with you wherever you go.
" Joshua 1:9.
