Review of I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK (2006) by Andrew M — 01 Jan 2008
The sentimentality and touching nature of this film shocked me, seeing how it's directed by Chan Wook Park (OldBoy, Sympathy for Mr.Vengeance). This movie is great as long as you can adapt to it's quirks and odd logic.
That aside, it's ensemble cast is treated with respect and dignity, despite their oddities, and the narrative style does a great job of utilizing the characters and setting to create something very unique and fun to watch.
