Review of I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK (2006) by Beth A — 18 Apr 2008
I watched this movie mainly for Park's style. I knew about the plot synopsis and wasn't setting my expectation high. After all, romantic comedies played by teen idols just aren't my thing. But then, this movie is quite a surprise...
To be honest, I had quite a hard time following this movie, especially during the first half. As the story evolved though, things started to fall together and I could see how brilliant the idea really was.
Still, I can't say I love this movie. It is good, it has styles, it has got memorable moments . However, there is still something that prevents me from truly appreciating the movie. Can't tell what that really is -- maybe I am still too normal for it.
