I think that no other director would and could have done such a rich and enlightening and deep and fun and special film upon a script like this. I don't mean it's a bad script, but surely it doesn't include all the characteristics a film script should have. (even a crazy film script).
The artistic direction of the film is really great, as well.
That's imaginative and inspired (or maybe inspiring?) cinema for you!
