Review of I'm a Cyborg, But That's OK (2006) by Juha E — 04 Sep 2011
Always fascinating about Chan-wook Park's color arts and the way in telling stories in his film. This Cyborg film is another Chan-wook Park's arts with a slightly softer romantic story with fascinating colorful imagination and flight for the reality.
Sometimes mental illness is a kind of scream and flight for the suffered reality life, something similar as another my favorite film "sucker punch" did. However, I guess not everyone would love such movie with so many bizarre and imaginative scenes.
But indeed Chan-wook Park is the excellent director in describing human strong emotions which I've even seen in Asian directors.
