Review of Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS (1975) by Simon D — 08 Nov 2015
I'd seen this on many lists of famous exploitation, horror, and disturbing films. I thought that it would be one of those films that push the boundaries and it sort of did, but in a very cheap way.
Having a bunch of semi naked female nazis performing human experiments on semi-naked prisoners sounds quite bad doesn't it. Unfortunately, this plot, is about as disturbing as it gets. The rest is pretty bad all round.
The acting is awful, the screenplay too. As for the horror elements, it's all suggested and not shown, in a lazy way, not for effect.
