Review of Ilsa: Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks (1976) by Richard C — 10 Oct 2010
You'll only be able to view it as flippant taboo humor with the talent involved: flippant directing, acting, etc. In this sequel, which I think is an improvement over the predecessor, the taboos are widened but the female sexual objectification, one of the trademarks, is still present: unnaturally large breasts fill the screen, full frontal vag shots are fearlessly displayed, and sexual slavery is a plot essential.
There's also an equal amount of kickass and disturbing gore ruining your appetite, much more so than in the first film, and the screenplay is good for a film of this type - there's an array of inventive cruelty throughout.
