I was very much looking forward to a slapstick comedy from director Peter Bogdonovich, having loved "What's Up Doc?". What happened? Rob Lowe embarassingly imitates Ryan O'Neal in Doc, (who was imitating Cary Grant in Bringing Up Baby).
The movie just isn't funny. Bad writing, barely amusing, poorly put together. What a shame and a waste of talent.
