Review of Illang: The Wolf Brigade (2018) by Arta B — 20 Jan 2019
A not so-brilliant scene by scene remake (almost) of a mediocre Anime, Jin-Roh. The visual elements are a joy for the eye, the action bits excellently choreographed. The story is convoluted and nearly impossible to follow.
A handbook would help, but for the fact that none of the characters establishes the slightest emotional bond with the viewer, so that one doesn't really care.
