Review of I'll Sleep When I'm Dead (2003) by Casey B — 20 May 2005
Okay... Clive Owen is beautiful, even with a scraggy beard. That said... he's also an amazing actor. With each film I see him in, he builds his reputation with me. Even King Arthur was nicely done. I'm impressed. .

I'd never even heard of this movie - which surprised me, considering I ususally keep up with the British releases... The premise is slightly used - a former gangster's brother is raped and commits suicide, and he comes out of seclusion to avenge him. A very underused Charlotte Rampling (I love that name :)) does beautifully well, as does the guy who plays the sidekick dude person. Anyway. It's nicely dark, slightly slow, and just a lovely British bit. Now, I'm going to go watch some Bean and get back to my British humour. .
