Review of I'll Sleep When I'm Dead (2003) by Michael L — 21 Oct 2007
If you've ever wondered what someone meant when they said "slow burn", watch this movie. THIS is a slow burn.
The character development for Will (Clive Owen) takes the better part of an hour, with hardly any action. That's not to say it's all boring, but it doesn't keep you on the edge of your seat.
The acting was solid - the cast did what they could with story that promises mafiaesque blood-spilling revenge, but delivers much less.
This isn't a bad movie - in fact, it's a pretty good one.. but keep in mind that this is a drama, not an action flick.
