Review of I'll Sleep When I'm Dead (2003) by Jack G — 14 May 2008
I think my dad said it best when the movie ended: "So essentially this is a movie about people we know nothing about doing things we don't understand and doing them boringly." I've often wondered if it's possible to make a gangster/crime movie where absolutely nothing interesting happens for almost two hours.
"I'll Sleep When I'm Dead" is my unfortunate affirmation. Clive Owen may sleep when he's dead; I, on the other hand, more or less slept through the entire movie. At least that's what it felt like.
