An effecting drama with ample light touches to offset the surprisingly profound messages of life and loss. Excellent performances and heart-tugging moments abound, grabbing the audience and making an emotional impact in unexpected ways.
With that said, however, the film could use some tidying up in the writing and editing departments, but those shortfalls don't significantly detract from what is an otherwise-worthwhile cinematic experience.
