Review of I'll See You in My Dreams (2003) by Paul K — 31 Jul 2016
Another film about being old. Low key, but funny and sensitively written. Loved the four old ladies vaping cannabis and getting the munchies bigtime. Blythe Danner isn't a name I've come across before, but she does a good job in the central role as a widow of twenty years whose dog has just died leaving her feeling that life is very empty.
Sam Elliot seems to be the go-to guy for handsome old man - he also had that role in 'Grandma' which we watched recently. As a movie it's slight but enjoyable.
