Review of I'll Be There (2003) by Scott G — 25 Feb 2008
Young classical singer, charlott church came off quite well here, playing a welsh wannabee singer growing up in cardiff, not a stretch for her then, but she does show some great acting talent, her first acting experience, apart from the odd music video, here and there, things turn upside down when her father comes into her life, played by craig ferguson, he plays a fading rock star, who had a fling with her mom, hence she became into being, as they get to know each other, her singing talent comes into play, which perks him up a bit, a nice little tale, quite predictable, but runs\ along nicely, ferguson is good to watch, a lot to play with as his charactor goes off the rails, so a nice\ debut for church, who hasent done anything since, she should.
