One of my top three favourite lesbian movies. Not only does it give visability to minimalized herstory it shows the difference and progress of lesbian rights through three generations. All three stories are very different, entertaining, moving and poinent.
Finally a real life lesbian plays a lesbian role and therefore gets the passion of the sexuality accurate. The only time I have seen this in a movie, thanks to Ellen. Important and educating herstory, humourous, touching and sexy.
