Review of If These Walls Could Talk (1996) by Hannah M — 13 Nov 2008
A thought provoking and well balanced historical look at abortion through three different short films, set in three different eras, all revolving around the same house. Wonderfully acted by an ensemble cast, this is definitely setting a high standard for television films.
The stories are emotional without being overly sentimental, and the opening credits using real footage of protests is great. The subject matter is touchy and certain scenes are a little disturbing, you'll definitely have plenty to debate about once the film is over.
