Review of If Only (2004) by Francis M — 29 May 2010
It aims at the heart strings, a little too much, the dialogue, the charming touches, the music etc etc. If you want to be swept away, then just let if flow over you and you will love it. If you look at it objectively, you will see how flawed it is as a film, but hey that's not what its aimed at, its good at what it does.
It is not a classic in any shape or form, but it will win with the sort of audience that is it aimed at.
