If only - you are in love, you are ambitious, you are unknowingly ignoring your loved, you need to make up soon and you are a female - you would love the movie. Its not the logic of "how is it possible" that you should argue with, but the message of "not being the whole of it, but being the best part of her life" should get your money worth.
