Review of If I Stay (2014) by Fernando V — 06 Feb 2015
Chloe Grace Moretz is a talented actress but this isn't worthy of her time. She does give it her all though with the material provided but ultimately this feels like its more manipulative and less emotional.
It doesn't help that her life is just so damn perfect and has absolutely no problems.. she doesn't feel like your average down to earth teenager, her character is a little too perfect and as teenagers they use far too intellectual dialogue, much like in Dawson's Creek The abrupt ending is also frustrating.
You will probably forget this after a few days.
