After seeing the trailer for this movie at the beginning of summer I was very interested in reading the book, which probably was a mistake. I know most movies never live up to the legacy of the book, but this one left out both massive an subtle details and plots which I think could have easily been thrown in to make the movie more true to the book.
The movie was not that long to begin with so I don't understand why they cut them out. I feel like I would have enjoyed the movie much more if I had never read the book.
