I am in love with the book and I went into the movie understanding that it wouldnt be the same. there were several changes in the storyline that didn't make sense to change for the movie.

The big climax of the book was if Mia wanted to live, knowing that her family had died, there was a 30 sec reflection of that in the movie and that was it. there was the big scenes with Adam in the hospital that were missing. I wanted to sew more of Adam struggling with getting to see Mia and the huge scene the had to make so he could go in and see her.

I really thought that the transitions between present and past were seemless and flowed with the movie.

But overall, good movie. I would watch it again.
