Chloe Grace Moretz of course gives a committed performance and it's not as lousy as I would have first expected it to be, but it's not a stand out among the many YA adaptations crowding the theaters now.
it puts a decent twist with the supernatural aspect of it and I think the story is very good and their are some genuine sad moments. overall, a decent YA adaptation but nothing that will stand out.
