I really didn't know what to expect from this movie, but I definitely didn't expect to like it so much... It's slightly slow moving and cliche (it is a teen drama after all) but overall I really enjoyed it, and in my opinion it wasn't really even that sad.
Rather than simply being about loss, If I Stay shows the power of love, extended family and friends and the importance of fighting through the bad stuff to get to where we're meant to be.
