I went to see this movie with my Twenty year old son. I had seen all the hoopla from the trailer, and that Regina King had done such An amazing job. Well, I am a fan of Regina King, and she is underrated, but a fan of this movie I am not. It was slow moving, and ends abruptly; I hate movies like this. No hope, just leaves you in not a good place.
I will say that maybe I should read the book, may enjoy but I don't think so. I'm ready for movies where there is justice and victory.
