Review of If a Tree Falls: A Story of the Earth Liberation Front (2011) by Robert J — 02 Aug 2011
A fascinating and very well-crafted work of documentary film-making which offers much food for thought concerning activism, environmentalism, terrorism (and what that really means) and how we make judgements about right and wrong when it comes to either taking a stand for something which we care deeply (e.
G. our planet) or facing the consequences of the laws and boundaries our society sets for us. And the film is much more than that as well and is highly recommended for anyone vaguely interested in these subjects.
Brilliant stuff.
