Review of if.... (1968) by Russell S — 26 Jun 2008
Excellent film examining the authoritarianism of a British boarding school, and the resistance that breeds from a few upstarts, led by the charismatic Malcolm Macdowell. I'm not certain what the ending is saying, though.
Also, there's a strange female non-character here, who is only identified as "the girl" and treated in what could be interpreted as a misogynistic way.
