Review of Idlewild (2006) by Adam G — 22 Jun 2008
A film with fantastic (if occasionally inappropriate) music, stunning cinematography and near-perfect art direction, let down by a weak, barely-there script and director Barber's unfortunate tendency to edit the stunning cinematography into millions of tiny micro-scenes that are jarring and detract from the otherwise aesthetic brilliance of the film.
