Review of Idiocracy (2006) by Joe M — 29 Jul 2012
An imaginative and assuredly unique vision of a possible future where stupidity and consumerism reign over all. The quirky premise is SO my thing, and Mike Judge's execution of that premise is consistently entertaining, frequently hysterical, and surprisingly intelligent.
While it's not a traditional "laugh out loud" comedy, it's high-concept satire does get an amused smirk on your face and keeps it there.
