Joe is an average human, he was selected by the military experiment for a year. However, when he wakes up, he is actually 500 years into the future. Human speech has deteriorated, just about everything is idiot proof, and airbrush rules the day.

There are a lot of jokes that are great seeing as our society is going in a downward spiral. The film does start to lose steam in the end and starts retreading things it did earlier in the film. Terry Crews is great as the President, and also a porn star and pro wrestler.
