The fact that there are enough "dumb shits" on this site that this movie has a 60% rating kinda proves the point this film was making. I guess the dumber a person is, the less likely they are to recognize it and the more likely they are to take offense when it's pointed out.
Watch this movie. If you don't think it would be really funny if it wasn't tragically coming true, you're probably part of the problem.
