Review of Identity Thief (2013) by Martin P — 01 Feb 2014

I needed something lighter after the depressing Broken, so this was what I chose. Both leads have amused me in the past so the 2 of them together looked promising. Yet again this did not live up to the sum of its parts - you just don't sympathise enough with the 2 principal characters to care what happens to them.

The gags were not that frequent and were often laboured. A better script would have elevated this mismatched couple road movie significantly. Saturday night DVD in the rain territory for sure.
