Blatantly ripping off nearly every other buddy movie in the book with its cookie cutter premise and by the numbers structure; "Identity Thief" could be bearable if it weren't even further bogged down by an unneeded barrage of crude humor, dragging pace and inexcusably pitiful payoff.
