With an interesting idea, a cute story full of hilarious dialogue, lines and quotes no fan will forget written by Craig Mazin, great chemistry and performances by Jason Bateman as Sandy Paterson and Melissa McCarthy as Diana with special appearances by Amanda Peet, John Cho, Jon Favreau, Robert Patrick, Genesis Rodriguez, Eric Stonestreet, Ellie Kemper and Ben Falcone, perfect directing by Seth Gordon, funny scenes and sequences and a fine pace and flow, Identity Thief has plenty of laughs and thrills thanks to its cast and surprises.
